Facial Skin Laxity
RICHMOND & DOWNTOWN
As we age, there are many changes within the skin on superficial, mid, and deepest layers of the tissue that result in loose and sagging skin.
Weakened elastin bonds result in our skin’s inalibility to “bounce back.”
What caused it?
There are two primary factors involved with aging skin: intrinsic (internal) and extrinsic (external) factors. Internal factors of aging are primarily based on our genetics. On the other hand, external factors including environment, climate, pollution, lifestyle, and stress.
Since many of the factors involved with aging skin contribute to the sagging and laxity of facial skin, in order to achieve best results, you may need a combination of skin tightening treatments and anti-aging treatments.
