How does it work?
Teosyal fillers can be injected into all areas of the face and neck where they are absorbed slowly and naturally by the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring and abundant carbohydrate in the human body that, unfortunately, is less and less produced with ageing.
The lack of hyaluronic acid is alleviated by Teosyal due to the high concentration of hyaluronic acid in the products. The products make the skin look younger, healthier and more radiant, injecting and replacing lost hyaluronic acid in the face and neck. Getting injections usually takes less than 30 minutes. Your doctor will clean the injection site and administer the anesthetic for topical use if the filler used does not contain stiff lidocaine.
They will then gradually inject the filler and gently massage it with the tips of their fingers to ensure that it is even and smooth. You may have some bruising and swelling, but this should dissipate quickly.
The results are seen immediately after the treatment, although this gradually improves over the course of the following 2–4 weeks.
Teosyal can last up to 22 months, depending on how your body metabolizes, skin type, area treated and volume of product injected
