What is it?Fractional lasers resurface and rejuvenate skin to treat fine lines and wrinkles, scars, hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, and textural issues.
How does it work?
Fractional laser beams are broken up into smaller units, so they target between 25% and 40% of the skin’s surface, leaving the rest intact, whereas a fully ablative laser removes the entire surface layer of skin in the treated area. The surrounding intact skin helps jump-start healing, stimulating the production of new collagen and the turnover of new cells.

Frequently asked questions.
Below is more information you need to know about this treatment.
Results appear over the course of several months and are optimal once you’ve completed a necessary series of treatment such as a significant difference in skin tone and texture, with further improvement for several more months.
After your face is thoroughly cleansed, a layer of numbing cream is applied then we wait for 30 minutes for it to take effect. Once the area is numb and ready, the technician will glide the laser across the treatment area, heating the collagen in the lower layers of the skin to stimulate production and tighten existing collagen fibers. A treatment can take between 15 minutes and two hours, depending on the laser and the size of the area you’re treating.
Your downtime and healing process will depend on the intensity of your treatment, but most people experience swelling and redness for up to a week. Your skin should look and feel mostly healed by day six or seven. Before then, you can use cold compresses to help alleviate any discomfort. Sleeping with your head elevated can reduce swelling. Don’t pick or peel any flakes or scabs.>Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks (ideally longer, to help preserve your results). Wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher and a wide-brimmed hat.
