You will see results after their first treatment. However, the full treatment requires 3 sessions 3 weeks apart, after which an annual follow-up procedures for maintenance.
The CO2RE Intima procedure is quick and simple and can be carried out at the office. The procedure itself is virtually painless and will only take about 15 minutes to treat the external and internal tissue.
The intimate hygienic disposable CO2RE external handpiece comes into contact with the area of the skin that needs treatment and provides gentle laser energy, causing the reshaping of the fibres of the labial and vulvar tissues, restoring flexibility and shape.
The laser energy is delivered through a tube which is connected to a hygienic disposable laser handpiece which is inserted into the vaginal canal. Laser energy is gently applied to the vaginal wall 360 degrees, stimulating a healing response that improves moisture levels in the vaginal canal and causes the fibres of the vaginal tissues to reshape, thereby restoring their flexibility and shape
Once treatment is finished, patients can resume normal daily activities without having to stop. However, patients should abstain from sexual activity for at least 7 days.
